At Bowls Papanui we cater to an extensive range of interest groups in the hiring of our facilities. 

A variety of businesses hire our facilities for team building days, seminars, tutorials, social functions, as well as “bowls experiences “ , for their staff and customers. Many social groups and local residents also enjoy having a relaxing and enjoyable time socializing, while having a go at bowling. We have about 40 sets of modern club bowls for these events, of varying sizes and colours, also a few smaller children’s bowls. There is access to the adjacent park and playground through a side gate.

We hire out both of our lounges for a range of celebrations, including Anniversaries, Weddings, Birthdays ( age restrictions apply ), Fundraisers, Community groups and many corporate and commercial clients, along with our Rugby and Netball sporting partners, who make their home base in our “Sports Hub “.

• Large, modern downstairs function area for up to 200. Commercial kitchen, bar with comprehensive range. Concealed sliding wall can separate lounge from bar area.
• High definition projector, huge remote controlled motorised screen, HDMi connection for your device, with independent speakers.
• Full speaker system with hook up to your MP3, phone etc., Sky Sport, Hand held Mic (with stand if required), rostrum, white boards and plenty of seating with a variety of table settings.
• Dedicated Heart Rimu dance floor. Wheelchair access to all ground level areas.
• Two greens, the envy of many visiting bowlers from all over the globe. (Recently voted amongst the best in the World by leading International coaches.)
• Upstairs lounge and bar which accommodates up to 120. Also fitted with the same Projector and screen system as downstairs, along with Sky T.V., mic, speakers, sound system, commercial kitchen and well stocked bar. Outdoor terrace for viewing/smoking area and back stairs exit to the adjacent park and playground.
• BBQ – Internet / Wi-Fi  - AED (Defibrillator) machine installed.
• Plenty of modern, well maintained Toilet areas, including Mobility.
• Four Heat pumps/Air conditioning units maintain a comfortable temperature year round.
• Full Security Surveillance ( including our large off street parking area ).
• Meeting room for smaller groups of up to 20-30, doubling as a fully plumbed, Barista training room. Also another small area for groups of 10-12.
